More time to answer a call: we show you how to make your mobile phone ring longer.
One second too late and the caller has already been transferred to your mailbox.
By default, your mailbox switches on after 15 seconds. This does not have to be the case.
You can manually extend the ringing time of your mobile phone.
The ringing time is set by entering a code (GSM code) on your mobile phone.
The code varies depending on the mobile phone provider and the desired ring duration.
To set the ring duration until your mailbox is activated, please enter the following
key combination via your mobile phone:
**61* Speed dial ** Time in seconds # Dial key
Replace "Speed dial" with the provider-specific number:
▪ Telekom: 3311
▪ Vodafone: 5500
▪ O2: 333
The standard delay time is 15 seconds.
It can be set between 5 seconds and 30 seconds, each in 5 second[1]increments(5, 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30).
Example:
If you are a Vodafone customer and you want your mobile box to answer the call after 25 seconds
to answer the call, dial:
** 61 * 5500 ** 25 # dial key.
